International Academy of Patronage was established by the International Charitable Foundation "Patrons of Century" for studying of charitable processes, defining of modern tendencies in development of patronage as an important social phenomenon.

Aims and objects of the Academy

International Academy of Patronage, in accordance with definite statutory aims and objects, contribute to formation in Russia of civil society based on the ideas of social justice, preservation and development in the country of historical traditions of patronage and charity, with support of modern legislation, and popularization of these ideas.

One of the main objects of the International Academy of Patronage is development and improvement of cooperation of representatives of state legislative and executive authorities, authoritative politicians and businessmen, leading Russian scientists, scientific, cultural and art workers with social charitable movements.

Priority directions of activity of the International Academy of Patronage are studying and development of social and economic mechanisms stimulating formation of the Russian and international patronage, and participation in economic process in order to obtain the official state status for patronage and charity.
